Founded in the summer of 2008, Queer and Ally Athletics has hosted outdoor rock climbing trips, kayaking trips, weight lifting sessions, soccer games, hiking trips, and more for the UGA community. Our leadership includes experienced sports instructors, allowing us to train beginners as well as organize events pushing the limits of intramural athletics. In its first semester of operation, the club hosted over 20 athletic meetings, both large and small.

Our web site has information about who we are, the kinds of events we host, how to reach us, and how to join. You won't find specific times and dates for events on our web site, as these are announced over our listserv. But don't be shy about subscribing: we monitor the listserv aggressively to make sure that it doesn't crowd your inbox with messages unrelated to queer-friendly athletics.

Athletic activity is one of the most fundamental necessities for a happy life. By providing training and a welcoming atmosphere, we're proud to help make athletics available to everyone.
